Nancy L. Dalton 1950-2020

Nancy was born July 1, 1950, in Salem, the daughter of Lawrence and Olga Jane Shyjka Cowen.

Nancy was a North Jackson High School graduate.

She married her high school sweetheart, Thomas “Tommy” J. Dalton Jr., on Jan. 28, 1967. She was a loving wife to Tommy and a caring mother to their daughter, Christine.

Nancy enjoyed the sport of archery. She would become proficient in her skills and participated in many archery events. As a professional, she was among the top competitors in the field.

Nancy had many varied interests. Nancy would continue to enjoy operating a karaoke service that was started by her daughter. Her hobbies included water skiing, whitewater rafting, going to casinos and gardening. She loved her time spent with Tommy, cruising in their classic cars.

Memories of Nancy will be carried on by her husband, Tommy; her daughter, Christine Albenze of Monroe Falls; and her grandchildren, Brandon Baltes, Phillip Albenze and Alexis El Khouri.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Norma.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020, at North Jackson Cemetery.
