Boardman police blotters

Police activity reported July 16-22:

July 22, 10:29 p.m. — Michael A. Austin, 36, 1846 Halbert Drive, Boardman, was arrested on a criminal trespass warrant, and Emily M. Smith, 29, of the same address, was arrested on a charge of obstructing official business.

4:15 p.m. — Sheila A. Cochrane, 68, 474 Parkcliff Ave., Youngstown, was arrested at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive, on charges of theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:24 a.m. — Thomas J. Barber, 38, 132 Hayes Lane, Bessemer, Pa., was arrested at 8600 Glenwood Ave. on a Mahoning County warrant for failure to appear on felony drug charges and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

July 21, 8:30 p.m. — Kati L. DeBartolo, 36, 7370 Salinas Trail, Boardman, was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

7:30 p.m. — James R. Coffin, 70, 84 Sciota Ave., Boardman, was arrested during a traffic stop on Southern Boulevard on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and was cited for driving under suspension and unsafe vehicle.

3:19 p.m. — Austin R. Sturgeon, 39, 166 Bonnie Brae Ave. NE, Warren, was arrested following his release from St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital on charges of assault on a police officer, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.

4:43 a.m. — Valyn L. Underwood, 44, 233 S. Bon Air Ave., Youngstown, turned herself in at the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office on a Boardman assault warrant.

July 20, 5:18 a.m. — A Boardman resident met a heavyset white 15-year-old at Shell, 5135 Market St., where he traded two Pokemon cards valued at $68 and $100 in exchange for four Pokemon cards valued at well over $1,000, which were later discovered to be counterfeit.

July 19, 6:43 p.m. — India L. Queener, 34, 3924 Rush Blvd., Youngstown, was arrested at 4026 Market St. on an assault charge, and a charge of criminal damaging was added July 21.

July 18, 6:28 p.m. — A 15-year-old Boardman boy was arrested at a Melrose Avenue residence on an unruly juvenile charge.

July 17, 5:28 p.m. — A pursuit on a speeding silver sedan that began in Boardman was broken off for safety concerns when the driver was going 90 mph on Market Street near East Judson Avenue on Youngstown’s South Side.

2:36 p.m. — Jason A. Scarnecchia, 43, 837 Squirrel Hill Drive, Boardman, was arrested at 7332 Market St. on a theft charge.

July 16, 11:17 a.m. — Criminal damaging was done to a vehicle following a physical fight in the 400 block of McClurg Road.
