YOUNGSTOWN — Judge Anthony Donofrio of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court sentenced Edward D. McLane Sr., 40, of Youngstown to two to three years in prison Wednesday on attempted bribery, two counts of violating a protection order and one count of cocaine possession. McLane gets credit for 279 days already spent in the Mahoning County jail toward his prison sentence. The sentence was mutually recommended by the prosecution and defense. Mahoning County’s Board of Developmental Disabilities is asking voters to approve its first new operating levy in 26 years, but the measure could face a considerable hurdle.
