Sheriff will provide deputies to serve in area school districts

WARREN — Trumbull County commissioners are expected to vote today on contracts involving seven area school districts and the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office enabling sheriff’s deputies to provide School Resource Officers through June 2027. The school districts each will pay the sheriff’s office $83,701.78. The deputies will provide the district’s law enforcement protections during times when the schools are in session.
