ODNR seeks letters to home from soldiers

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, as part of America 250-Ohio, has created the “Letters to Home Trail” near the Mohican Memorial Shrine, which honors 20,000 Ohioans who died in conflicts from World War II to today. The trail will feature a series of interpretive signs sharing the actual words written home to families of Ohio service members during times of conflict. Hubbard police probe theft of ATM

HUBBARD — City police are investigating the theft of an ATM from the main lobby of Burlews Fresh Market on North Main Street A police report states a break-in alarm rang at 4 a.m. Friday and when officers arrived, they found a door to the store kicked in with glass on the floor inside. Police are reviewing video surveillance to identify possible suspects. Last month, Brookfield police responded to a similar incident of the theft of an ATM from a Sparkle Market where a window to the store was found smashed out.
