YOUNGSTOWN — Ishia Milledge, 40, was arraigned Wednesday in Youngstown Municipal Court on burglary, a low-level felony, following an incident Tuesday afternoon at a home on Oxford Avenue on the North Side in which she was found inside someone’s home — a problem that the homeowner has had with Milledge in the past.

Officers were called to the home regarding a burglary in progress at 2:32 p.m. Tuesday. The resident told dispatchers that her neighbor contacted her to say that the front door of her home was open. A police report called this an “ongoing issue with Milledge” breaking into the residence.

When officers arrived, they saw that the front door was open, but the outer screen door was locked. Officers were able to open the outer screen door, enter the home and call out to whoever was inside. Officers could hear music coming from upstairs. An officer told whoever was up there to come down.

Milledge “peeked her head around the corner and advised she was naked and had to get dressed,” the report states.

Once Milledge was downstairs, an officer handcuffed her and placed her in a cruiser. She had a book bag full of paperwork, used gift cards and 99 Suboxone strips, the report states. The book bag was left for the owner to determine what was hers. An officer logged the Suboxone strips as evidence, and Milledge was taken to the Mahoning County jail.

She was arraigned on charges of burglary and misdemeanor drug possession.

In June, she was charged with felony forgery, for which she also was arraigned Wednesday. She has a preliminary hearing on that case and the burglary July 29.

Milledge also was charged with burglary, a second-degree felony, June 19. A felony burglary charge is still pending in that matter in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
