Libraries set delayed openings

Both the Public Library of Youngstown-Mahoning County and the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library will delay opening until 11 a.m. today due to the extreme cold temperatures.

The Youngstown library and its branches will also open at 11 a.m. Saturday. Closings will be at regular scheduled times.

The National Weather Service forecasted temperatures today near 14 with windchill values as low as -10. The low this evening is at -13.

Saturday’s high is to be near 15 with windchills as low as -13. Saturday evening’s low is -2.
