YOUNGSTOWN — A juvenile male was found with a gunshot wound to the leg on North Belle Vista Avenue on the city’s West Side early Thursday.

Youngstown police were called to the address at 12:15 a.m. for a shooting and made contact with the boy.

Ambulance personnel took him to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. He was listed in stable condition Thursday afternoon.

The report does not say whether the boy was inside a house or not, but the report lists the possible laws that may have been broken and possible charges as felonious assault and improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation or school.
