Choffin Career & Technical Center in Youngstown on Thursday welcomed third-grade students from the Youngstown City School District for Safety Superheroes Day.

This year’s event focused on fire prevention and career exploration in public safety through interactive outdoor activities, hands-on demonstrations and an interactive tour of Choffin’s Public Safety Lab.

Participants had the opportunity to meet local first responders, explore Choffin’s fleet of public safety vehicles,and experience the tools and technology used in the field.
