The Youngstown State University Marching Pride gave its first public performance of the year Friday at Stambaugh Stadium, providing patrons with a preview of the music they will perform during Penguin football games this fall.

The performance showcased the full ensemble, including the drumline, majorettes, flagline and other student musicians. Here, the majorettes take center stage at the Meet the Marching Pride event. YSU’s first football game is Thursday against Mercyhurst Universit, which is in Erie, Pa.
