NILES — The Trumbull County Educational Service Center has named Laura Rubesich to serve on the governing board to fill an opening with the recent resignation of Jeff Dreves.

Rubesich, of Howland, will serve the remainder of this year and if she wants to continue on the board will need to run in the November general election for a new four-year term.

Dreves, of Vienna, stepped down June 2 after 13 years on the governing board. Rubesich was sworn in as a new member at the June 30 meeting.
