WARREN — The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a complaint regarding the conduct of a Trumbull County Jail employee, officials said.

The alleged incident occurred on June 29, according to county jail officials.

The employee was placed on administrative leave the following day.

Two individuals contacted the Tribune Chronicle, reporting alleged sexual abuse by the same officer. It remains unclear which victim reported the June 29 incident and whether the officer was the one placed on leave.

The investigation is ongoing and no further details have been released.
