YOUNGSTOWN — Alta Head Start will host a free community enrollment event noon to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Covelli Centre in downtown Youngstown.

The event will feature games, children’s activities, vendors and resource providers for prospective Head Start families. Families also can meet with Alta Head Start family advocates, learn more about Head Start’s services and register for the upcoming year.

Families registering for the upcoming year should bring proof of residency, proof of income and the enrolling child’s proof of birth. This event is free and open to the public.
