Man stabbed near gas station

YOUNGSTOWN — A man was in stable condition after he was stabbed late Thursday near the Shell Gas Station, 1907 South Ave.
Officers were called to the area of the gas station and Samuel Avenue at 11:56 p.m.
A woman had called 911 to say that she and another woman were near the gas station. When officers arrived, the administered aid to the victim. Ambulance personnel arrived “shortly thereafter,” and they took the man to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital for treatment and he was in stable condition.
No other information was provided.
