Fitch 4, Warren G. Harding 1 — A strong pitching and defensive game propelled the Falcons to the three-run win over the Raiders. Brady Stovall doubled while four other Falcons lent a single. Mason Petridis earned the win on the mound for Fitch, fanning eight, walking seven and allowing only one hit in the complete game. Gummy Hart was given the loss for Harding in six innings, walking three, striking out seven and allowing five hits.
Springfield 11, Waterloo 1 (5 inn.) — The Tigers set the tone early with four runs in each the first and second innings and cruised to the win over the Vikings. At the plate, Jackson Ensley doubled twice and drove in two runs, Noah Troggio, Ben Cutlas, Cooper Ensley and Alec Fusco each tallied a pair of hits with Fusco driving in two runs and Cutlas and Cooper Ensley each doubling as well. Jackson Ensley earned the complete-game win, allowing five hits, walking one and striking out four. In the loss, Cole Kaiser and Aric May each had a pair of hits. Mason Biltz was given the loss on the bump in four innings.
Warren JFK 4, Lake Center Christian 1 — The low-scoring affair was opened with two runs in the opening frame by the Eagles, but the Tigers cut the lead to one a half-inning later. Insurance runs from Kennedy in the third and fifth innings, along with a strong pitching performance, sealed the deal and gave the Eagles the win. Offensively in the win, Rinck doubled while four other Eagles singled. Lapolla picked up the complete-game win, scattering six hits, walking none and fanning three. In the loss, Coblentz doubled and singled twice. Bryant was given the loss in 2 1/3 innings, fanning five, walking five and allowing two hits.
Lowellville 15, Mathews 5 (5 inn.) — Six runs in the first inning and five more in the next frame set the tone for the Rockets in the big win over the Mustangs. Lowellville tallied 13 hits and was led by Geno Perry singled twice, Kaden Primous singled twice and drove in four runs, Liam Bartlett added a trio of singles, Kasen Smith doubled, singled twice and drove in a game-high five runs while Anthony Tuscano doubled. Tuscano also earned the win on the mound in four innings, striking out two, walked three and surrendered three hits. In the loss, Petak singled three times and drove in two runs. Kester was given the loss, throwing an inning while fanning one, walking three and scattering five hits.

Poland 9, South Range 7 — The Bulldogs opened the game with five runs to start and kept adding insurance runs and staving off the Raiders’ comeback to earn the win. At the plate for Poland, Jacob Hayes doubled and singled twice, Joe Zuccaro doubled and drove in three runs, Owen McKenzie singled and had three RBIs and Dylan Kelty lent a double and drove in two runs. Tyson Tarajack picked up the win on the bump, tossing five innings while striking out seven, walking three and allowing seven hits. In the loss, Brennen Klasovsky had a trio of singles, Gavin Hiscox, Andrew Brian and Julian Tranovich each singled twice, Nico Papuga drove in two runs and Gaven Nagy doubled. Klasovsky was given the loss in 3 2/3 innings, fanning four while allowing five free passes and surrendering seven hits.
SOFTBALL
Mathews 19, Lowellville 5 — The Mathews bats were on fire as the Mustangs pummeled the Rockets. The offensive attack was led by Allie Ramsey with a pair of hits and three RBIs, Ava Shugart belted a home run, doubled and drove in five runs, Maddy Hufford added three doubles and RBIs and Mia Delgarbino tallied three hits and RBIs as well. Ashia Pate picked up the win for Mathews. Lowellville statistics were not submitted.
Fitch 14, Warren G. Harding 4 (5 inn.) — The Falcons scored in each inning at the dish to throttle the Raiders Tuesday. Fitch posted 13 hits and was led by Kaliana Ray with a home run, two singles and five stolen bases, Alyssa Rodgers tripled and singled, Abby Toth singled twice, Kylie Folkwein doubled, singled and swiped two bags and Rachel Spalding singled twice and drove in two runs. Kourtney Fedorek picked up the win on the rubber for Fitch. In the loss, Azarriah Phillips belted a home run, singled and had two RBIs, Ky’Ziya Minor doubled and Karley Trisler doubled. Trisler was given the loss in the circle for Harding.
Hubbard 3, Girard 0 — Kaylee Schultz tossed a complete-game, two-hit shutout to charge the Eagles in the win over the Indians. The hurler fanned seven and walked three in the victory. At the plate, Layla Songer doubled and singled and Haleigh Taylor singled twice. For Girard in the circle, Brooklyn Broll threw all seven innings, walking two, striking out three and allowing seven hits.
Cardinal Mooney 12, East 0 (5 inn.) — The Cardinals scored five in the opening frame and cruised to the dominant win over the Golden Bears. At the plate, Rinaldi, Desantis, Howell and Ramos each collected a pair of hits. In the circle, Ramos also picked up the win, fanning nine and allowing two hits.

Champion 16, Liberty 0 (4 inn.) — Game one of the doubleheader was all Champion all game as the Golden Flashes put up seven runs in the second inning and eight an inning later to topple the Leopards. Gabby Gradishar picked up her tenth win, fanning 10, walking none and allowing a pair of hits. Offensively for Champion, Adalyn McIntosh belted a home run, doubled, singled and drove in three runs, Taylor Rouan tripled, doubled, singled and had two RBIs, Ava Sylvester doubled, singled twice and had a pair of RBIs, Sam Strock doubled, tripled and drove in four runs, Josie Perhach doubled and drove in two runs and Haley Bungard doubled. For Liberty, Fleps was given the loss, fanning four and walking two.
Champion 12, Liberty 0 (5 inn.) — In game two of the doubleheader, Champion tallied 14 hits and cruised to the win over the Leopards. Adalyn McIntosh picked up her second win in the circle for Champion, fanning nine, walking one and allowing a hit. At the plate, Gabby Gradishar hit for the cycle, Taylor Rouan, Sam Strock, Ava Sylvester and Jonna Strock each singled twice and drove in two runs while Adalyn McIntosh and Josie Perhach each doubled. Strohmeyer was given the loss for Liberty, striking out four while walking none.
South Range 11, Poland 2 — The Raiders’ offensive output reached its peak with five runs in the fourth inning to put the nail in the Bulldogs’ coffin Monday. South Range posted 12 hits in the contest and was led by DeJesus with a double and two singles, Wilt with a pair of doubles and four RBIs, Winner drove in two runs, Bartels singled twice, Rupert doubled and singled while Pauline lent a double. Rupert also earned the win in the circle, fanning six, walking one and allowing four hits in the complete-game win. Draa was given the loss for Poland, throwing 3 1/3 innings while walking and striking out zero and scattering nine hits.
