YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office said Thursday the man who was killed in a crash Monday night at Albert Street and East High Avenue was Jose Fragosa, 32.

A coroner’s office news release states that the coroner’s office was notified at 11:11 p.m. Monday that Fragosa had died in the crash.

An autopsy will be conducted, and the crash remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and Youngstown Police Department Accident Investigation Unit.

The Youngstown Police Department stated that Fragosa was riding a motorcycle when a collision occurred between the motorcycle and a motor vehicle. The driver of the motor vehicle, who was alone, was not injured.

Fragosa was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital by ambulance and was pronounced dead a short time later, a police news release stated.
