US Marshals searching for 2 men in killing of Youngstown man
YOUNGSTOWN — The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information leading to the capture of fugitives Vincent Marbley and Eddie Winphrie in the Oct. 17 shooting death of Reynaldo Hernandez, 24.
A U.S. Marshals Service news release states that Hernandez was shot in the 2300 block of Bott Street on the East Side on Oct. 17. Earlier news releases have indicated that Hernandez’s body was found at nearby Liberty Road near Wardle Avenue and in the area of the Mount Hope Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Oct. 18.
Marbley and Winphrie are wanted by the Youngstown Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service on charges of murder and tampering with evidence in Hernandez’s death, according to a Marshals’ news release.
Marbley, 59, is a black man, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 145 pounds. Winphrie, 41, is a black man, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 262 pounds.
Marbley and Winphrie have been known to frequent the Cleveland, Youngstown and Columbus areas.

Four other men also have been charged in connection to Hernandez’s death. Andre K. Bailey, 40, of Craig Beach, was arraigned Friday on charges of murder and tampering with evidence in the case. His bond was set at $1 million.
The three other men are charged with tampering with evidence. They are Richard Lightner, 40; Daniel Ramsey, 43, of New Castle,Pa.; and Shawn Jones, 35. Bond for Lightner and Jones was set at $150,000 during hearings Friday in Youngstown Municipal Court.
Ramsey was in the Lawrence County jail last week awaiting extradition to Ohio so that he can also be arraigned. He has no arraignment date yet, according to Youngstown Municipal Court records.
