Police seized 88.5 lbs of methamphetamine from a vehicle they chased from Liberty to Canfield, following a dual-county chase that was part of an ongoing investigation through the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force.

Jeffrey Battle, who police believe was the only person associated with the vehicle, was taken into custody and will appear in Mahoning County Court today for his arraignment.

Those who assisted the task force in the chase included the Youngstown Police Department, the Ohio State Highway Patrol Canfield Post and a Liberty Township Police Department K-9 unit.
