LIBERTY — The Liberty Board of Education this week accepted the resignation of board member Christopher Brookbank, effective March 1.

Officials said due to his term being unexpired, the board must appoint an individual to fill the vacated seat for years 1 and 2 of the current four-year term.

Those interested in filling Brookbank’s two-year term should submit a letter of interest to District Treasurer Maureen Lloyd at 4115 Shady Road, Youngstown, OH 44505, no later than Tuesday.

Appointment to the board position will be made at the March 25 meeting.
