Businesses, downtown to be highlighted on bus wrap
Staff report
YOUNGSTOWN — A Western Reserve Transit Authority bus will spotlight Youngstown businesses and the city’s downtown as part of a yearlong campaign.
City officials on Tuesday announced the new campaign that includes a fully-wrapped advertisement on a WRTA bus.
The bus will spotlight local businesses and the city’s downtown with the back having gun safety information.
“In an effort to connect with and support our community, we are excited (to) partner with WRTA and Adsposure to spotlight the great businesses, opportunities and people of this amazing city,” said Nikki Posterli, the mayor’s chief of staff and director of the community planning and economic development department.
Adsposure manages all advertising on WRTA’s fixed bus routes and light transit vehicles. The company also worked with the city to create the bus wrap design, Posterli said.
The bus wrap includes a QR code for the YO! Rewards app as well.
