Police activity reported Aug. 9-15:

Aug. 15, 7:09 p.m. — Benjamin R. Horvat, 18, 267 Brookfield Ave., was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

1:53 a.m. — A 15-year-old Youngstown boy was arrested for possession of criminal tools and was cited for a curfew violation; a 16-year-old Youngstown girl was arrested for criminal trespassing and cited for a curfew violation; and a 14-year-old Youngstown girl was arrested for possession of criminal tools and was cited for a curfew violation, following a call to Schwebel’s, 965 E. Midlothian Blvd., regarding four juveniles attempting to break into and steal vehicles.

Aug. 14, 5:53 p.m. — Shante E. Crawford, 28, 56 Maple Drive, Greenville, Pa., was cited for a violation of registration and regulation of transient vendors following a call to 6937 South Ave. regarding a woman with a sign begging for money for baby formula and diapers.

Aug. 13, 2:55 p.m. — Larry W. Kelley, 33, 86 Leighton Ave., was arrested on a charge of theft following a shoplifting call at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

12:25 p.m. — A 13-year-old Boardman boy was arrested for telecommunications harassment and misuse of the 911 system following multiple false calls to various locations.

1:36 a.m. — Cassandra J. Martin, 42, 4661 South Ave., Boardman, was arrested by Struthers police on Boardman warrants for theft and endangering children.

12:42 a.m. — Nadia M. Brooks, 23, 2924 Oregon Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired, possession of marijuana and endangering children (driving while intoxicated with children in the vehicle), following a traffic stop on Wildwood Drive.

Aug. 12, 12:45 p.m. — Gerald J. Quaranta, 43, 6034 Applecrest Court, Boardman, was arrested on a charge of theft, following a shoplifting call at Meijer, 1400 Boardman-Canfield Road.

3:14 a.m. — Faith M. Nardone, 26, 208 Charles Ave., Boardman, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence following a call about a fight and people bleeding.

1:01 a.m. — Monica D. Boor, 35, 7588 Sugar Creek Drive, Boardman, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

Aug. 11, 5:26 p.m. — Heather T. Stevens, 55, 229 Fifth Ave., Latrobe, Pa., was arrested on a charge of theft following a shoplifting call at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

9:15 a.m. — Justin A. Brown, 34, 128 N. Pearl St., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of theft following a shoplifting call at Home Depot, 7401 Southern Blvd.

1:02 a.m. — Matthew J. Alvarado, 32, 4939 Unger Road, Atwater, was arrested by the Ohio State Highway Patrol on a Boardman warrant for theft.

Aug. 10, 11:44 p.m. — Deanna M. Tringhese, 59, 34 Cherokee Lane, Columbiana, was arrested on a charge of theft following a shoplifting call at Meijer, 1400 Boardman-Canfield Road.

4:41 p.m. — Xaviar Gilford, 35, 25 Market St., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of felonious assault, and Darren M. Gilford, 37, 1118 Burlington St., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of felonious assault and intimidation of a victim, following a call to 76 Boardman-Poland Road regarding two men hitting another man with a pipe behind the business.
