Mobster turned YouTuber coming to Robins
WARREN — Former organized crime figure and YouTube series host Michael Franzese will speak at the Robins Theatre on Sept. 9.
Franzese is a former “made man” and a capo for the Colombo crime family, where he made more than $1 billion for the mob. Franzese walked away from La Cosa Nostra and that life, and has lived without witness protection for more than 25 years.
His true-life story has been featured on the History Channel and National Geographic. His YouTube show, “Sit Down with Michael Franzese,” averages between 4 million and 5 million views per month.
A Q&A will follow Franzese’s talk, which is presented by the Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini Foundation.
Tickets for the 8 p.m. show range from $29 to $49 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Robins box office and online at robinstheatre.com. A VIP package also is available that includes a meet-and-greet and family-style dinner at Salvatore’s in Howland, a copy of one of Franzese’s books and a gold circle ticket to the show.
