YOUNGSTOWN — The Sixth Annual Mahoning Avenue Fall Fest will take place 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 1 between Steel Street and McKinley Avenue in the West Side’s historic garden district.

The event will feature family-friendly activities, including a pumpkin patch, corn roast, antique sale and flea market, arts and crafts, free samples, music and more.

Fall Fest demonstrates the vibrancy of the community and and tries to catalyze more permanent improvements to promote local artists and businesses, according to organizers.

The event is presented through the city of Youngstown, 4th Ward Councilman Mike Ray, Garden District Neighborhood Association, Rocky Ridge Neighborhood Association, Paisley House, City of Youngstown Community Police, Casa Ramierz, Hackett’s Pub, Trek Coffee House, Voyager Beverages and Economic Action Group, Inc.
