ATHENA nominees announced

Award honors Valley’s outstanding professional women at May 19 dinner

YOUNGSTOWN — This year’s 31 nominees for the 29th annual ATHENA Award Program, which celebrates the accomplishments of outstanding professional women in the Mahoning Valley, have been announced.

The award and award dinner are presented by the Youngstown / Warren Regional Chamber and The Vindicator.

The dinner is 5:30 p.m. May 19 at Waypoint 4180 in Canfield and includes a VIP reception for the sponsors, nominees and nominators, followed by the public reception, dinner, keynote speaker, presentation of the ATHENA Scholarship, recognition of all nominees and the announcement of this year’s recipient.

Valley native Curren Katz, senior director for data science and digital health for Janssen Research and Development at Johnson & Johnson, will keynote this year’s event. The cost is $75 per person.

The nominees are:
