Police activity reported Aug. 18-24:

Aug. 24, 2:26 p.m. — Jacob Potkanowicz, 23, 1100 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman, was arrested on a theft charge following a call to Meijer’s, 1400 Boardman-Canfield Road.

5:43 p.m. — Kevin A. Anderson, 49, 275 Park Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a Niles warrant for failure to appear, following a call to the 800 block of Forestridge Drive regarding a man urinating in a yard.

Aug. 23, 8:45 a.m. — James G. Williams, 47, 345 Randolph St., Youngstown, was arrested on a Boardman warrant for theft following a call to 22 Boardman-Canfield Road regarding a male approaching vehicles and begging for money.

9:50 a.m. — Nicholas F. Romeo, 23, 4087 Pebble Beach Drive, Canfield, was arrested on charges of drug abuse (crack cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on a vehicle involved in a county investigation.

Aug. 22, 4:11 p.m. — Robert Vanderpool, 20, 76 E. Warren Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of theft and on a Liberty warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense, following a call to Meijer’s, 1400 Boardman-Canfield Road.

6 p.m. — Zhane M. Sims, 26, 339 South Jackson St., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of theft following a call to Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

6:27 p.m. — Dylan W. Metzgar, 20, 7386 Southern Blvd., Boardman, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence following a call to 7620 Jaguar Place regarding a domestic incident.

10:41 p.m. — Patsy Carlini-Pruitt, 18, 580 Squirrel Hill Drive, Boardman, was arrested on charges of underage possession of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was cited for an open container following a traffic stop on Market Street for a vehicle with the rear tail lights not on.

Aug. 21, 1:31 p.m. — Mindy A. Marckel, 36, 58 Beechwood Drive, Boardman, was arrested on a charge of theft following a call to Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.

3:38 p.m. — Custody was taken from St. Elizabeth Hospital Boardman of Cassandra Santiago, 27, 1219 Sheehy St., Youngstown, who was under a Boardman warrant for theft.

4:56 p.m. — James-Joseph Logan, 19, 7366 Sugartree Drive, Boardman, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing following a call to 7401 Market St. regarding a person previously warned off the property.

9:35 p.m. — Brian K. Patterson, 48, 6054 Applecrest Court, Boardman, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and on a Boardman warrant for domestic violence, following a traffic stop on a vehicle that struck two cones while crews were setting up an OVI checkpoint on South Avenue.

10:25 p.m. — George N. Santiago, 27, 147 N. Blaine Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a Youngstown warrant for domestic violence, following a diverted vehicle stop at an OVI Task Force checkpoint on South Avenue.

Aug. 20, 2:06 a.m. — Michael C. Mele, 34, 440 Fifth St., Struthers, was arrested on a city of Warren warrant for failure to appear on a passing bad checks charge, following an investigation into a male subject walking in the curb lane on South Avenue.

7:11 p.m. — Breyon A. Jackson, 36, 481 Princeton Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of theft following a call to Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive; Lachelle T. Tajae-Easterly, 27, 2600 Tyrell Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of theft; and Nauje Mo N. Adams, 19, 550 E. Boston Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of theft and criminal trespassing following a call to Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive regarding two woman skip-scanning merchandise.

7:37 p.m. — Syledah C. Ellison, 19, 811 W. Indianola Ave., Youngstown, and Chyann D. Allen, 19, 4577 Kirk Road, Austintown, were each arrested on a charges of theft following a call to Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Aug. 19 , 2:41 p.m.– Eric R. Wilson, 33, 591 Audrey Lane, Struthers, voluntarily turned himself in on a Boardman warrant for theft.

3:50 p.m. — Ruby G. Husk, 53, 4055 South Ave., Boardman, was arrested on a charge of theft following a call to Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive regarding an employee stealing from the store.

Aug. 18, 10:49 a.m. — Shawn C. McNear, 34, 742 Mauro Circle, Warren, was arrested on a Boardman warrant for domestic violence, following a call to the Southern Park Mall for a wanted person.

11:29 p.m. — A 14-year-old Boardman female was arrested for domestic violence following a call to a Shields Road residence regarding an out-of-control juvenile.

Aug. 10, 7:10 p.m. — A 14-year-old Boardman girl was arrested on a charge of domestic violence following a call to a Shields Road residence for an out-of-control juvenile.

4:02 a.m. — Anthony J. Jones, 26, 175 W. Princeton Ave., Youngstown, was arrested for failure to comply, fleeing, obstructing official business and resisting arrest during a traffic stop.

Aug. 9, 10:27 p.m. — Austin C. Chace, 28, 5077 Calla Road, Canfield, was arrested on a Boardman warrant for theft and a Hubbard Township warrant for failure to appear on aggravated trespassing charges, following a call to Boardman Inn, 7109 Market St. regarding a suicidal male.

12:13 p.m. — Michael L. Marks, 42, 315 N. Edgehill Ave., Austintown, voluntarily turned himself in on a Boardman warrant for inducing panic.

10:56 a.m. — Jeffrey P. Gentile, 43, 2219 Broadway Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa., voluntarily turned himself in on two Boardman felony theft warrants.

9:44 a.m. — A 14-year-old Boardman boy was arrested on a charge of domestic violence following a call to a Shields Road residence regarding a disturbance.

12:53 a.m. — A 13-year-old Youngstown boy was arrested on charges of fleeing and eluding, breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools, receiving stolen property, obstructing official business, resisting arrest qnd being an unruly, juvenile runaway, and was cited for operation of a vehicle without regard to the safety of persons and property, no valid license and improper display of license plates, following a vehicle chase that ended on Washington Boulevard.

Aug. 8, 12:59 p.m. — Noah B. Brundidge, 26, 4821 Westchester Drive, Austintown, was arrested on charges of groping an 11-year-old female at Marc’s, 7121 Tiffany Blvd.

8:30 a.m. — Samuel J. Lapin, 33, 1024 E. South Range Road, North Lima, was arrested on three Boardman warrants for theft.

8:25 a.m. — Shawntai M. Beiling, 31, 1024 South Range Road, Springfield, was arrested on a Boardman warrant for theft.

1:44 a.m. — Klarysa R. Green, 24, 1184 W. Perry St., Salem, was arrested on Boardman warrants for possession of drugs and drug abuse instruments.

Aug. 7, 6:45 p.m. A 16-year-old Boardman boy and a 16-year-old Canfield boy were each charged with theft following a shoplifting call at Meijer, 1440 Boardman-Canfield Road.

6:12 p.m. — Torey R. Hillis, 24, 3803 Loveland Road, Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of theft following a shoplifting call at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

11:52 a.m. — Victor M. Caez, 38, 66 Indianola Road, Boardman, was arrested on a Mahoning County warrant for failure to appear for a hearing, and on a Campbell Police warrant for violation of a court order.

9:37 a.m. — Jesse Staten, 28, 2486 West 14th St., Cleveland, was arrested on a Boardman warrant for hit-skip.

12:50 a.m. — Kobe J. Viera, 19, 2401 Taft Ave., Youngstown, was arrested by Goshen Township officers on a Boardman warrant for theft.

12:30 a.m. — Elisa M. Hernandez-Best, 41, 1637 Himrod Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a Liberty warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense, following a traffic stop on Market Street.

Aug. 6, 8:58 p.m. — Dmetri Lee, 31, 811 Oak Knoll Ave., Warren, was arrested on a Vienna Township warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense, following a shoplifting call at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

8:51 a.m. — Rance Fountain, 64, 4640 South Ave., Boardman, was arrested by Youngstown police on a Boardman warrant for domestic violence.

Aug. 5, 4:10 p.m. — Jennifer L. Illes, 30, 1744 Penny Lane, Austintown, was arrested on a charge of theft following a shoplifting call at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

2 p.m. — Crystal El-Amin, 32, of Las Vegas, voluntarily turned herself in on a Boardman warrant for theft.
