Police activity reported May 11-16:

May 16 — Dylan Anderson, 18, 441 Pasadena Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and Elijah Anderson, 22, 575 W.Myrtle Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and was cited for open container in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop on Mahoning Avenue during an OVI checkpoint.

May 15 — Jeremy Heavener, 30, 3902 Ayrshire Drive, Austintown, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired following a traffic stop on Fairgrounds Boulevard during an OVI checkpoint.

May 15 — Michael Madden, 30, 152 Wade Ave., Niles, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired following a traffic stop on Fairgrounds Boulevard during an OVI checkpoint.

May 14 — Sara Rex, 23, 242 Moreland Drive, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for speeding following a traffic stop on South Hillside Drive.

Maureen Grunenwald, 64, 110 Woodview Ave., Boardman, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Lisbon and Broad streets.

May 13 — A report was taken regarding a two-year-old video located at Canfield Village Middle School, 42 Wadsworth St., that was said to involve a coach drinking with students, but turned out to be adults taking a single round of shots.

May 11 — Alexander Mindy, 28, 6707 Crory Road, Canfield, was arrested on a Boardman warrant for inducing panic following a traffic stop on South Broad Street.

May 11 — Ragan Miller, 18, 6770 Poland Center Drive, Poland, was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia following a call to MCCTC, 7300 North Palmyra Road.

Police activity reported May 1-7:

May 7 — David Bell, 36, 345 Fairview Ave., Canfield, was arrested on a warrant for drug abuse related to drugs seized in a vehicle inventory related to a May 4 traffic stop on Fairview Avenue.

May 4 — A 16-year-old Austintown boy was summonsed to the Juvenile Justice Center on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia following a call to MCCTC, 7300 North Palmyra Road.

May 1 — Brandy Pinkerton, 35, 1813 Idaho Ave., East Liverpool, was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia and James Moore, 32, 1133 Prospect St., Salem, was arrested on charges of drug abuse, falsification and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on South Broad Street.

Police activity reported April 15-May 1:

May 1 — A 17-year-old Girard boy was issued a summons for drug abuse (THC cartridges) following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

May 1 — Christopher Terry, 32, 1210 18th St., Canton, was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana) and was cited on charges of fictitious plates and driving while under suspension.

April 30 — Nathan Knight, 37, 929-1/2 North Market St., Lisbon, was arrested on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear following a traffic stop on state Route 46.

April 29 — An unknown vehicle fled the scene of a two-vehicle crash at East Main Street and Manor Hill Drive.

April 28 — Officers administered Narcan to an unresponsive man after a vehicle pulled over requesting help on East Main Street. The man was transported to the hospital by the Cardinal Joint Fire District.

April 27 — Possible fraud reported at a Hood Drive residence.

April 27 — Louis Pagliaro, 63, 392 Fairgrounds Blvd., Canfield, was arrested on an Austintown warrant for menacing by stalking and violation of a protection order following a request by Austintown police to check the residence for a man with a warrant.

April 26 — Following a report of a girl juvenile knocking on the door at a Dartmouth Drive residence, the girl was identified and returned to the custody of her mother.

April 24 — Attempted scam reported at a Blueberry Drive residence.

April 23 — Possible fraud reported at an Oak Tree Drive residence.

April 21 — Gregory Rochow, 72, 4160 Orlando Drive, Canfield, was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing after having received a letter to refrain from coming onto the property at the school district’s bus garage, 39 Wadsworth St.

April 20 — Elizabeth Flickinger, 24, 9401 Dutchtown School Road, Rogers, was arrested on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear and on a Mahoning County warrant for felony receiving stolen property.

April 19 — Gary Cusick, 46, 5024 Timbercrest Drive, Canfield, was arrested on charges of possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

April 16 — Daniel Henkel, 36, 3721 Elbertus Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of drug abuse (ecstasy pills and marijuana), and was cited for a marked lanes violation, following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

April 15 — Anthony Ranalli, 38, 1358 Stardust Ave., Canton, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and leaving the scene of an accident, and was cited for open container and assured clear distance ahead, following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of East Main Street and Talsman Drive.
