HUBBARD — The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called out Sunday evening to an accident after an Amazon truck jackknifed off Interstate 80, ran off the road and crashed into a wooded area.

The accident happened at 5 p.m. near the 232 exit in the eastbound lane of Interstate 80 near Liberty and Hubbard townships. Dispatchers said officials on the scene could smell diesel fuel possibly leaking.

No serious injuries were reported.

Traffic in the eastbound lane of I-80 was backed up for miles for a period Sunday evening.
