COITSVILLE — Charges are pending an investigation after a late-night chase ended in a two-car crash.

Coitsville police Chief Michael Morris said as of Friday morning, the driver, whose identity was not released by police, is facing felony charges of fleeing.

The driver’s vehicle went around the bend near Lincoln Park Bridge in Youngstown, hitting a car head-on after a “short pursuit” ended in Coitsville around 11 p.m. Thursday, Morris said

The Ohio State Patrol is handling the crash portion of the investigation.
