YOUNGSTOWN — Police responded to the parking lot of St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital at 7:45 a.m. Sunday and found a city man, 54, on the ground with several stab wounds.

He was lying beside a car. The location where the stabbing happened was not mentioned in a police report, but a car was towed from an address on East Philadelphia Avenue that detectives believe may have been involved in the incident.

The medical staff at the hospital treated the victim for his injuries, a police report states.
