‘Meet the Vindicator’ events set

YOUNGSTOWN — The team that brings The Vindicator newspaper to thousands of readers daily will host a series of “Meet The Vindicator” events — a forum for questions and comments about the newspaper.

Six remaining “Meet The Vindicator” events will offer readers in communities across Mahoning County the chance to meet the newspaper leadership, including members of the editorial team, the advertising department, the circulation department, and Vindicator and Tribune Chronicle publisher Charles Jarvis. Light refreshments will be available.

A session will be Monday at Mauthe Park, 156 Smithfield St,, Struthers. There will be two sessions the first week of March — March 2 at the Poland Library and March 4 at the Canfield Library. The forums begin at 6:30 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m.

The last three sessions in March will be 6:30 p.m. March 9 at the Lowellville Village offices, 140 E. Liberty St.; 6 p.m. March 11 at the Columbiana Public Library Salchow Meeting Room, 332 N. Middle St., and 2:30 p.m. March 24 at the Youngstown Library large meeting room, 305 Wick Ave.

Two events already were held in Youngstown and Austintown.

Eight additional “Meet The Vindicator” events will offer readers in communities across Mahoning County the chance to meet the newspaper leadership, including members of the editorial team, the advertising department, the circulation department, and Vindicator and Tribune Chronicle publisher Charles Jarvis.

Refreshments will be available.

Six of the forums begin at 6:30 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m.:

• Feb. 17 — Boardman Library large meeting room, 7680 Glenwood Ave.

• Feb. 18 — Campbell Roosevelt Park Community Center, Sycamore Drive

• Feb. 24 — Struthers Mauthe Park, 156 Smithfield St.

• March 2 — Poland Library, 311 S. Main St.

• March 4 — Canfield Library, 43 W. Main St.

• March 9 — Lowellville Village offices, 140 E. Liberty St.

• March 11 — 6 p.m., Columbiana Public Library Salchow Meeting Room, 332 N. Middle St.

• March 24 — 2:30 p.m., Youngstown Public Library large meeting room, 305 Wick Ave.
