Woman in dismemberment case gets 6 months in jail
YOUNGTOWN — Michelle L. Ihlenfeld, 28, of Francisca Avenue, has pleaded guilty to intimidation and obstructing justice in connection to the Shannon Graves murder and dismemberment case and will spend an additional six months at the the Mahoning County Adult Justice Center.
Prosecutors said Ihlenfeld was among the co-defendants of Arturo Novoa, 33, and helped Novoa mutilate and hide Graves’ body and burn her belongings.
Novoa, also known as Anthony Gonzalez, was sentenced in June for conspiring with others to murder Graves and hide her body in a freezer in Campbell.
Novoa got 48 years to life in prison. His girlfriend, Katrina Layton, 37, is expected to get between 10 and 20 years in prison when she is sentenced later.
