BEAVER — A one-vehicle fatal crash occurred Tuesday afternoon on state Route 626 near Maplecroft Road, according to the Canfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Diane Shimer, 59, of North Lima, was traveling northwest when her SUV veered off to the right and struck a utility pole, a ditch and overturned. Shimer was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

Beaver Township Police, EMS and Fire assisted at the scene. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected, and the crash is under investigation.
