Mike DeWine said today he will appoint Andy Wilson, director of the Ohio Department of Public Safety, as the state’s next attorney general, to replace Dave Yost, who is resigning, effective June 7. World’s largest oil company logs profit of $32.5 billion

Aramco, the world’s largest oil company, said Sunday its first quarter profit jumped 25% as the Iran war disrupted oil supplies and raised prices. Dhahran, Saudi Arabia-based Aramco said it successfully shifted some oil exports to a pipeline to avoid the Strait of Hormuz, which has been disrupted by the war. Canfield man indicted on felonious assault

YOUNGSTOWN — Newton V. Murphy II, 41, of Leffingwell Road in Canfield, was indicted last week on charges of felonious assault and misdemeanor domestic violence in a Jan. 3 altercation in which Murphy is accused of throwing a woman against a wall, repeatedly banging her head off of the floor and trying to throw her down the stairs.
