Rock triple bill booked for Canfield Fair
A rock triple bill led by Daughtry will be the other grandstand concert for this year’s Canfield Fair.
Joining Daughtry on Sept. 2 will be Buckcherry and Hinder.
Led by Chris Daughtry, who first attracted attention as a contestant on “American Idol,” Daughtry has been one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st Century. Its self-titled debut was the top-selling album of 2007, and it featured seven singles that made the top 40 on various charts, from the Billboard Hot 100 to the Adult Contemporary and Mainstream Rock charts.
Recent hits include “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart),” a duet with Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, “Artificial” and “Pieces.”
Buckcherry has played many gigs in the Mahoning Valley since releasing its debut album in 1999, and most recently it was part of the 2023 Y Live concert headlined by Kid Rock.
Hinder also has drawn big crowds at past local concerts and is best known for its mammoth 2006 radio hit “Lips of an Angel.”
Tickets range from $39.50 to $75 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. July 12 through Ticketmaster.
