YOUNGSTOWN — A man, 65, was killed in a single-car crash on Poland Avenue near Walton Street on the South Side at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday.

The man was the only occupant of the vehicle. He was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later, according to a news release from Lt. Robert Gentile, head of the Youngstown Police Department Accident Investigation Unit.

The crash is being investigated by the YPD Accident Investigation Unit and Mahoning County Coroner’s Office.
