Tue. 9:36 a.m.: Youngstown woman gets 23 to 28 1/2 years in prison for arson
YOUNGSTOWN — Cheree Moore, 43, was sentenced to 23 to 28 1/2 years in prison today in an Aug. 13, 2021, arson that caused burns to the neck and arm of a woman who lived inside.
Moore, of West LaClede Avenue, was convicted at trial of two counts of aggravated arson and a specification of being a repeat violent offender. The woman who was injured in the home on Regent Street on the South Side was Moore’s babysitter.
