In the Division III state championship matchup Canfield (13-1) is set to take on Bloom-Carroll (14-1) at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.

Both schools are looking to capture their first state championship in school history. This is Canfield’s first state championship appearance since 2005 and the Bulldogs are making their first appearance in program history.

Pregame: Canfield will kick off to start the game.

1Q 10:00: The Cardinals come up with a stop on 3rd and 1 to force a Bloom Carroll punt. The Cardinals will take over on their own 43-yard line.

1Q 6:44: Canfield quarterback Broc Lowry hits running back Danny Inglis on a screen pass for a gain of 14 yards. The Cardinals have the ball on the 23-yard line.

1Q 4:18: Canfield quarterback Broc Lowry scores the first touchdown of the game on a 1-yard run. Joel Miasek converts the PAT and Canfield takes the 7-0 lead. It capped off a 13-play, 57 yard drive.

1Q 2:10: Bloom-Carroll punts for the second time today and Canfield takes over on their own 45 yard line.

2Q 11:54: Bloom-Carroll’s Carter Cornelius picks off Lowry and the Bulldogs take over on their own 17-yard line.

2Q 7:07: Broc Lowry keeps it himself to pick up a 1st down on a 3rd and 3. Cardinals charge into Bulldogs territory. They have it on the 38-yard line.

2Q 5:15: Lowry finds Davis on a 4th and 7 for a 15-yard gain to keep the chains moving.

2Q 2:48: Broc Lowry scores on a 3-yard run to cap off a 14-play, 74-yard drive. Miasek hits the PAT and Canfield leads 14-0.

2Q :23: Bloom-Carroll converts a 4th and 2 with 23 seconds left in the first half and then spikes the ball to stop the clock.

2Q :05: Bloom Carroll’s scores just before half as Ethan Thanthanavong hits Brodyn Bishop for a 3-yard TD pass. PAT good

HALFTIME: Canfield 14, Bloom-Carroll 7

3Q 10:15: Bloom-Carroll forces the Cardinals to punt on their first drive of the second half and the Bulldogs will take over on their own 33-yard line.

3Q 7:30: Canfield recovers a Dylan Armentrout fumble and takes over on their own 49-yard line.

3Q 6:30: Broc Lowry picks up a 15-yard run to push the Cardinals deep into Bloom-Carroll territory.

3Q 3:55: Broc Lowry caps off another Canfield scoring drive with a 2 yard run. He has all three of Canfield’s TD runs and he’s up to 108 yards rushing. Canfield leads 21-7.

3Q 1:41: Bloom-Carroll drops a pass on 3rd and 7 and they’ll punt back to Canfield. It’s the Bulldogs’ fourth punt today. Canfield takes over at their own 20.

End of 3Q: Canfield 21, Bloom-Carroll 7

4Q 11:45: Canfield draws a little inspiration from South Range and pulls off a trick play. After Broc Lowry handed it off to Paul Bindas, he tossed it back to Lowry and the Canfield QB took it 69 yards to the house. Canfield leads 28-7.

4Q 8:58: Canfield picks up two straight sacks to force Bloom-Carroll into a 3rd and 20 and then Caden Kohout intercepts a Thanthanavong swing pass. Canfield takes over on BC’s 30-yard line.

4Q 6:06: Broc Lowry gets his passing touchdown with a 9-yard JUMP pass to Dom Marzano. Canfield takes a 35-7 lead.

4Q 3:50: Chase Plantz gets Bloom-Carroll back on the scoreboard and punches the ball in from 1-yard out. PAT good. Canfield still leads 35-14.
