Weather advisory issued for Trumbull County

WARREN (AP) – The National Weather Service in Cleveland at 1:52 p.m. today issued an advisory for a strong thunderstorm expected to impact portions of southeastern Trumbull County through 230 p.m. today. The Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Vienna Center, or 7 miles east of Warren, moving east at 25 mph. Hazards are reported as winds in excess of 40 mph, which could down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

According the the Weather Service, locations expected to be impacted include Warren, Niles, Hubbard, Vienna Center, Maplewood Park, Girard, Vienna, McDonald, Yankee Lake, Brookfield Center, Churchill, Bolindale, West Hill and Howland Center.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
