Mahoning Valley Players postpones opening of Shakespeare spoof
Due to the threat of thunderstorms, Mahoning Valley Players is postponing tonight’s opening performance of “The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged).”
The show was scheduled at Judge Morley Pavilion at the Wick Recreation Area, 1861 McCollum Road, Youngstown. With rain also expected Saturday, the 6 p.m. performance scheduled Saturday currently is on standby. Sunday’s 2 p.m. matinee will go on as scheduled unless the forecast changes.
Rain dates for canceled performances are 6 p.m. July 2 and 3.
