Trumbull among 7 Ohio counties in a COVID high-risk category

Trumbull is one of the seven counties in Ohio to reach Level 3 (red) for being high risk for COVID-19, Gov. Mike DeWine said this afternoon.

“Risk is very high,” he said. “Ohioans should limit activities as much as possible. Wear a mask when you go out.”

But DeWine didn’t place any additional restrictions today on those in the Level 3 counties.

Mahoning County was among 28 Level 2 (orange) counties in Ohio while Columbiana County was the lowest level, yellow. There are 53 counties at that lowest level.

Franklin County (Columbus) is the only county approaching the highest level, purple.
