YOUNGSTOWN – The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified the man found shot to death on Parkview Avenue Sunday night as Nicholas Burnett, 35, of Boardman.

An autopsy was conducted by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.

He was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in his vehicle parked in front of a home near the Glenwood Avenue intersection. Police were called there at about 10 p.m. after the department’s gunshot-detection technology picked up multiple gunshots being fired.

No ruling has been issued on the cause of Burnett’s death.
