YOUNGSTOWN – The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified the two people killed in a crash and fire Wednesday on Salt Springs Road as Jasper Wells Jr., 32, and Audreyona Ward, 25.

They were identified using fingerprints, a press release from the office states.

Wells and Ward were in a stolen car stolen from Campbell, and Youngstown police chased the vehicle for a time but called off the search prior to the crash, which involved a telephone pole near North Meridian Road. Wells was the driver.
