The Mahoning Valley notched nearly 100 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Mahoning County leads the pack at 41, Trumbull recording 38 and Columbiana adding 19, according to the Ohio Department of Health. Health districts call for students to wear masks

With the number of COVID-19 cases at a six-month peak, the five health districts in the Mahoning Valley issued a joint statement for the first time during the pandemic urging school systems to require all students and staff to wear face masks.
