COVID-19 numbers dropped significantly this week at area nursing homes and prisons, but the numbers were mixed at nursing homes across Ohio. Two Mahoning County nursing homes had more than 10 COVID-19 cases this week — the Windsor House at Omni Manor nursing home in Youngstown with nine patient and eight staff cases this week and the Oasis Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Youngstown with 10 patient and two staff cases, according to Ohio Department of Health data. The Ohio Department of Health failed yet again to provide an accurate report of COVID-19 cases in the state.
