MOUNT CARMEL FESTIVAL: The 26th annual Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Festival will be Thursday to Sunday at the church grounds, 343 Via Mount Carmel in Youngstown. The festival is 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday, 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. There will be a live auction, food, music, historical area, Little Prince and Princess pageants and a children’s area. Admission is $5, with children 12 and under free. INSPIRING MINDS MARKETS: This summer, over 300 students in the Mahoning Valley participated in Inspiring Minds’ six-week summer enrichment program. Both the Warren and Youngstown chapters of Inspiring Minds will culminate their programs with annual youth-led summer markets on July 21 in Warren and July 25 in Youngstown.
