Community News: Civil War reenactment planned in Canfield

CIVIL WAR REENACTMENT: The Argus Park Civil War Reenactment will take place Saturday and Sunday at the park, 5050 Shields Road, Canfield. There will be a Civil War battle brass band, Abraham Lincoln presentation, live fire mortar presentation and surgeon presentation. Admission is $10 with children under 10 free. HYMN SING: Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2985 Center Road (U.S. 224) in Poland, will host a hymn sing at 10 a.m. Sunday at the church with all denominations welcome. GREENWAY TRAIL DAY: Friends of the Greenway Trail invites outdoor enthusiasts of all ages to the annual Greenway Trail Day 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Cyclists, runners, walkers, climbers and hikers are encouraged to come out, explore and support the Columbiana County Greenway Trail. Water stops featuring refreshments and light snacks will be stationed at the Lisbon, Teegarden Covered Bridge, Franklin Square and Leetonia parking lot areas.
