The Hope Foundation gets $2,118 donation
The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley’s DreamCatchers for Kids Fund recently received a $2,118 donation from Wings for Vincent.
This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to uplifting the lives of children facing life-threatening medical challenges in the Mahoning Valley.
Established in 2016, DreamCatchers for Kids was founded with a singular mission: to bring joy, hope and unforgettable experiences to children confronting serious health issues.
Through various initiatives, the organization strives to create lasting memories for these brave young individuals and their families.
“This generous gift will empower us to continue our vital work in improving the lives of children grappling with life-threatening medical conditions,” said Anthony Spano, founder of The Hope Foundation.
“Our mission transcends merely granting wishes; it’s about making meaningful connections and providing moments of comfort and relief amidst the struggles that these children and their families face.”
Wings for Vincent was founded in loving memory of Vincent Venturino, who died in March 2014 at the age of 14.
This initiative was born from a desire to offer comfort through weighted products specifically designed for children affected by sensory processing disorders, including Autism and Asperger Syndrome.
With support from Venture Plastics in Newton Falls, Wings for Vincent has distributed over 500 weighted blankets and vests to children in need throughout northern Ohio.
