DSAV holding purse fundraiser

The Seeing Eye

DESIGNER PURSE: The Down Syndrome Association of the Valley is hosting a Designer Purse Extravaganza, with winners announced 8 p.m. Aug. 13 via Facebook and its website.

The 35 designer purses total near $8,000 retail.

Tickets are $35, giving each holder one chance to win each of the 35 designer purses. Tickets are available online through Friday at dsav.org.

While the event may look different than DSAV’s purse bingo night attended annually by more than 430 women, the message and the DSAV mission remain the same. Since 2007, DSAV continues to serve eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania by providing programming and support to individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the professionals who serve them.

LIBERTY SURVEY: The Liberty Schools Levy Committee is asking residents of Liberty to complete a survey regarding the Liberty Local School District’s 2.5-mill additional permanent improvement levy that will appear on the November ballot.

Visit www.libertyleopardalumni.org or go to the group “Liberty Leopard Schools” on Facebook to complete a brief anonymous survey. Surveys are due by Aug. 14.
