Oct. 21 Community News: Lordstown sets fire station open house

LORDSTOWN OPEN HOUSE: The Lordstown Fire Department, 1595 Salt Springs Road, will be open 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday for tours of the building and to see vehicles and equipment. The informal open house and town hall will allow people to ask questions of fire staff on needs of the department and the issue on the November general election ballot asking voters to decide whether to repurpose a third of the current 1.5% income tax to build a new fire station. The ballot issue is a language change and will not add any cost the residents.
