Gambrelm Yacovone lead Boardman trustee race
BOARDMAN — Matthew Gambrel appears to have secured a seat on the township’s board of trustees and Steve Yacovone appears to have been re-elected to the seat he was appointed to earlier this year.
With 92% of precincts reporting, Gambrel leads the four-candidate race for two seats with 3,853 votes (29.50%) and Yacovone is second with 3,623 votes (27.74%).
Political newcomer Cody McCormick is third with 2,982 votes (22.83%), followed by Thomas Costello, who was seeking re-election, fourth with 2,604 votes (19.94%).
