YSU offers art camp

The Youngstown State University Department of Art will host its first Summer Art Camp in June at Bliss Hall. Designed for students ages 13 to 18 entering grades 9 to 12, the camp will provide hands-on studio experience in painting, printmaking, photography and graphic design. Throughout the week, students will receive instruction and personalized feedback from college-level art faculty in a workshop-style format that encourages experimentation and creative growth. Rebecca Nan is TAG’s artist of the month The work of Rebecca Nan is featured in the Artist of the Month Gallery for April at Trumbull Art Gallery, 158 N. Park Ave., Warren. Nan’s “Faces and Places” exhibit showcases portraiture and travel photography.
